We were approached by a client to produce rollers that would solve a problem they were having on their shrink-wrap machinery. The rollers they were using had been coated with a glued on foam product. We redesigned the rollers to be made out of bonded on polyurethane with the Ultra Grip finish. These rollers we manufacture are ideally suited for materials feeding applications. The grooves are made with a single pass process to create a surface that has a high coefficient of friction. These particular rollers measured 16" in length, 2.75" O.D., and the urethane was 0.375" thick.
