Kunz Industries specializes in Roller and Wheel Reconditioning. We offer a unique hot bonding process which constitutes first stripping your roller/wheel down to its core. The cores are then cleaned and primed for a new casting of our high grade polyurethane. After a preheating, the polyurethane is cast as a liquid and allowed to harden. Depending on the application, the castings can be oversized and cut down to spec in our fully equipped machine shop, or directly cast to size. This flexibility in processing ensures a high quality, high tolerance, fully functional roller/wheel which fits perfectly back into your system. Since we only use top of the line materials and processes, all of our reconditioned rollers/wheels are as good if not better than when they were first manufactured.

Kunz is not limited to just Reconditioning. We also build custom rollers/wheels starting with the cores. Our machine shop is equipped to handle roller/wheel bearing fabrication. Incorporating tolerances within 0.001" we develop cores according to your specifications and utilize our hot bonding process to cast your polyurethane rollers/wheels.

Our staff has over 20 years of experience in the polyurethane field. We have fulfilled orders constituting parts which are as small as 3/8" up to 12" in diameter and up to 95" in length. Not limited to standard rollers, we provided service for splits which have ranged from 1" to 20" in diameter. Kunz employees pride themselves on providing unparalleled customer service and support. We have provided timely and cost effective solutions for clients who had custom systems, were facing breakdown situations, sluggish machinery, maintenance issues, etc. No matter your application, Kunz provides the technical capacity and experience to fulfill your needs.
