As specialists in the custom manufacture of polyurethane components, we were approached to create these bearings for the industrial roller industry. These bearing plugs are cast in such a way that the urethane and bearing assembly press fits into a standard pipe for an almost instant roller. The bearing plugs had dimensions of 1.250" long with an OD of 1.750" and a backstop 0.188" thick. To minimize TIR, we cast these bearing plugs to within 0.010" of the pipe they are to be pressed into.
